Sacsayhuaman

Cultural authorities have condemned the recent discovery of four propaganda drawings on walls of the archaeological site Sacsayhuaman in Cusco.

Security guards at the Sacsayhuman Archaeological Park found four drawings at the Puca Pucara and Puqro sections and immediately filed complaints with the Prosecutor.
Chief of the archaeological site, Marco del Pezo, informed the vandalism was made by spray paint as seen in the photos.
Since the discovery, the local Prosecutor has demanded a thorough investigation to identify and punish those responsible for the drawings.
Three of the drawings were made at the Puca Pucara section of Sacsayhuman. One of the drawings measures 6 meters long and 70 centimeters in height. The drawings allude to a candidate running for Congress and all measure similar in size.
The fourth was drawn in the Puqro section, measures 4 meters long and takes the same form as the three at Puca Pucara.
The Director of Culture of Cusco, Daniel Maravi, condemned the defacement of the Inca architecture and confirmed that the walls will be cleaned promptly.
